Nicely remodeled, restrooms, free parking, good store for saving on basic but options are limited and although some name brands are sold there mostly the brands are store brands. If you don't like something, or find an issue, they have a simple, hassle free guarantee so simply take it back to the store. There are a lot of seasonal items that come and go, so stock up when you find things you really like. Baked goods, dairy, eggs, bagged salad, chicken salads, cheeses, breads, buns, staple items, baking products, snacks, crackers, cookies, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned fruit, and cereals are generally values and worth the trip and purchasing. The limited varieties and bands will mean that you will want to get the basics here and then go to a larger grocery store option for all the rest to fill out your recipes, tastes, and products Aldi doesn't have. Among the staples worth getting here are the paper products, food storage bags, trash bags, and so on. Fun to visit and see the changes week to week, seasonal products that just arrived, and search for mark downs. Bring your own bags or buy bags there for your purchases. Grab empty boxes to cart your purchases is another option. A quarter unlocks a shopping cart for your use, but the quarter is unlocked when you return your cart and lock it to the rest of them. Yes, that means using the cart is actually free.
Checking out is rapid, and you need to move to the counter along the wall to bag or box your purchases. Check your receipt because errors can happen but easily and willingly corrected if you find a mistake.
The addition of self checkout has greatly improved the overall Aldi experience, particularly when only purchasing a few items.
Clean store, limited brand selection of certain items, but they do have a variety of items available. Some name brands but mostly their store brands dominate. , which I heard are typical your name brands just rebranded so there's that. Small frozen section, meat & fish selection are decent, but mostly sold out when I visit, shop early if you want the popular items. They moved to self check out and that has improved the long lines. Well maintained and stocked well. Smaller store footprint, which I like, no need to go through department you don't want or need, in and out no fuss. Good recommend. Fairly priced items.
Some prices are ok but some very high. Hate when I find something I like and go back to get more and can't find it. I love a chocolate popcorn no caramel that was fantastic and now I can't get it. Hate 25cent cart because I don't usually carry money and need cart help to walk.
Bigger Aldis- but so busy, workers taking up the aisles so you cannot go down them. Only 1 regular check-out, and they don’t switch your carts out which i thought was very strange. I prefer the one over in Redford off of Beech.
My first ever experience at an Aldi and it will be my last. The store was dirty. Lots of expired foods on the shelves, mostly in the bread isle and produce. One cashier, line down in front of the frozen coolers so you couldn't even shop. And the bag of apples I purchased..?! Every single one smashed(it happens I get it) but also appears to be what looks like rodents had a feast as well as what looks to be a human bite with teeth marks in it. Beyond disgusting. Never again.
Good prices. Selection was hit or miss. Staff were friendly and helpful. Store was clean and well maintained.
Cheap prices for staple items but not the greatest produce selection. Will definitely be going too blocks farmers market for fruits and veggies
Hit or miss on shelves being stocked.
